The Footman James 31st Bristol Classic Car Show will take place on the Saturday and Sunday of the May Day weekend (1-2 May) at the Royal Bath & West Show Ground, Shepton Mallet.

This will be our biggest and best show yet, with more than 2000 classic cars over the course of the weekend.

Together with the pristine classics on the 80 club stands, the hugely popular classic car park will display around 1000 cars each day.

The 100,000 square-feet show plays host to 250 stands of major car clubs and exhibitors. The themed club stands include: a 1940s bomb-site; a record-breaking 1000km speed car; 70 years of the Wolseley Hornet; and 100 years of Jowett.

You will experience a wealth of practical demonstrations, while the trade and autojumble section has all the new and second-hand parts, tools, books and memorabilia you could need.

We are also hoping to make a feature of outdoor attractions, including a market square area and a major car boot sale allowing only autojumble.

We know that many of you enjoy the opportunity to enter or buy a classic vehicle, so we have included an on-site auction, managed by Charterhouse of Sherbourne.

Our 31st show has attracted a tremendous amount of interest and is the largest we have ever held. In fact, we have had to add another pavilion just to house everything.

Opening times are 10am - 6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday and Monday. Adult tickets cost £10 on the door, and £9 via the website. Accompanied children up to the age of 16 can visit for free.

And as a special gift, the first 5000 tickets sold will include a goody bag of car cleaning products, toiletries and refreshments.
